001. Tomsk of the 19th century in lithographs and drawings by Fleck / V. A. Khanevich // Report of the club of local historians "Old Tomsk" for 2003 / (Tomsk). - Tomsk, 2004. - pp. 26-27.

The article tells about a little-known but important artist for the iconography of Tomsk — Polish exile Julius Volkmar Fleck. As a participant in the 1863 uprising, he was exiled to Tomsk, where he created dozens of drawings and lithographs depicting the city in the second half of the 19th century. These works, some of which were published in Warsaw during the artist’s exile, are now stored in the archives of Tomsk and are a valuable source on the architecture and topography of the city. Thanks to the efforts of Polish researcher Antoni Kuczynski, additional materials about Fleck and his work were discovered, including an album of drawings, “Memory of Siberia.” The work emphasizes the significance of Fleck’s contribution to the cultural heritage of Tomsk and calls for the publication of his works by the 400th anniversary of the city.
