Fedorzo Mikhail Mikhailovich

Other names: Fedorco Michal
Definition:

Hungarian citizen. Prisoner of Tomsk prison in 1941

Years of life: 1919–1941
Reproduction methods:

Fedorco Mikhail Mikhailovich was born in 1919 (1917), in the village of Gankovice (Honkovce, Gankovce, Hánkovce, Choňkovce) in the Sobrance District of the Kingdom of Hungary.* He is a Slovak by nationality, a citizen of Hungary, has primary education, is a merchant, and is single.

He was detained by the 94th Border Detachment on September 11, 1940, for attempting to cross the state border. On September 20, an arrest warrant was signed (Article 80 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR), and Fedortso was detained at the border detachment's location (in the town of Skole, Stryi district, Lviv region). On December 17, 1940, he was imprisoned in Prison No. 4 in Stryi, western Ukraine.

On May 16, 1941, the case was sent to a Special Meeting of the NKVD, but there is no information about the sentence handed down in the prisoner's file. Scattered documents in the case trace Fedortso M.M.'s movements between prisons in Zhitomir, Dnepropetrovsk, and Novocherkassk. In October 1941, a personal file certificate was prepared for transfer to Ust-Kamenogorsk, but there is no confirmation of his presence there.

On December 9, 1941, defendant Mikhail Mikhailovich Fedortso arrived at prison No. 3 of the NKVD Novosibirsk Region in Tomsk, and a week later, on December 16, 1941, the prisoner’s personal file was written off due to his death.

*Currently part of Slovakia.
