Born in 1898 or 1899 in Inturka, Lithuania. Lived in Moletai. Ran a butcher shop. Arrested on 14.06.1941. By the indictment of 25.04.1942 in Kraslag he was accused of belonging in 1925-1940 to the organization "Union of Participants in the Jewish Struggle for the Independence of Lithuania" ( Article 58-4 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR) . Sentenced on 02.01.1943   by a special meeting of the NKVD of the USSR as a socially dangerous element to 5 years in a labor camp. He died in Kraslag on 20.12.1952.   According to other sources, the death toll in a camp in Krasnoyarsk Krai in 1942 was   His wife and five daughters were exiled to the Altai region.
