Vysotsky Vasily Iosifovich
A native of Minsk, a former church warden. Sentenced to 10 years in a labor camp.
Former churchwarden Vasily Iosifovich Vysotsky, born in 1872, from Minsk, spoke out against Stalin's constitution, saying that the Soviet government neglected the workers, starved them, denied them bread, and that Stalin's constitution guaranteed no protection. This was classified as anti-Soviet propaganda. His sentence was 10 years in a forced labor camp.
