In the early 1920s - assistant to the head of the political control department; from 1929 - Chairman of the GPU of the Armenian SSR; in February 1932 - assistant to the head of the Main Inspectorate for Police and Criminal Investigation Department of the OGPU of the USSR; in 1932–1937, deputy head of the GURKM of the OGPU-NKVD of the USSR. In 1937 he lived in Moscow, held the position of deputy head of the NKVD of the Saratov region. Arrested in Saratov 06/13/1937; Specially sentenced on 10/08/1937 to VMN; shot 10/08/1937; burial place - Moscow region, Kommunarka. Rehabilitated by the Military Commissariat of the USSR Armed Forces on June 23, 1956
