He was accused of being the organizer and leader of a counter-revolutionary group of churchmen in the Krasnogvardeisky district, and of approving the murder of S.M. Kirov and called for reprisals against communists. Sentenced by the decision of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO on March 11, 1938 to VMN. Shot on March 12, 1938 in Leningrad. Rehabilitated by a resolution of the Presidium of the Leningrad Regional Court dated December 15, 1958.
