Vyacheslav Iosifovich Vysotsky

Genus. in 1899 in Pskov; Pole. In 1928 he graduated from the geological department of the Siberian Geological Prospecting Institute (SGRI) in Tomsk. He was engaged in exploration of coal deposits in Kuzbass, since 1931 - chief engineer of the West Siberian Geological Exploration Trust (ZSGRT), since 1934 - chief engineer of the Ukrainian Geological Exploration Trust. Lived in Kyiv, st. Artema, 37, apt. 6. Arrested together with his wife on October 29, 1936 by the UGB NKVD of the Ukrainian SSR “as an active participant in a fascist-terrorist organization.” Sentenced by the USSR Military Command on September 3, 1937 under Art. 54-6, 54-7, 54-8 and 54-11 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to the VMN. Shot on September 3, 1937 in Kyiv. Rehabilitated on May 28, 1957 by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR.
