Arrested on 06/15/1926, by a resolution of the GPU OSO dated 06/18/1926 he was sentenced to administrative deportation for 3 years (“non-reporting”, “refusal to testify”). Sent to the Ust-Sysolsk region (modern Syktyvkar). According to the amnesty of 1927, the deportation was reduced by 1/4 of the term. In October 1928 he moved to Kursk, because he did not have the right to return to Leningrad ("-6"). Arrested in Kursk on March 6, 1930, in connection with the “Academy of Sciences case.” 02/24/1931 transferred to Kresty. Sentenced on May 10, 1931 by the GPU Co. 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to execution, replaced by ten years in a concentration camp. He served his sentence in Solovki and arrived on July 25, 1931.
