Genus. in Tver; Russian. In St. Petersburg - from 1907, he served as a draftsman in the Praktik bureau in Blok's house (Nevsky Prospekt, 65). In 1908–1917 he worked as a junior stenographer in the office of the State Duma. In 1911, he invented a stable asphalt composition for covering roads, “Termolit Galakhov” (bought by the state), which “consisted of 90% organic substances: sawdust, peat, straw, leaves, pine needles, etc.; 5% gypsum or alabaster, 5% lime slaked with a solution of a combined antiseptic” was widely used in Moscow in the 1920s, in particular during the construction of the first Soviet cooperative residential village “Sokol”, founded in 1923. Before the revolution he lived in the village. Tyurisevä (after 1948 - Ushkovo) in Finland, where his family probably remained, who received money and news from him until 1937.
