Arrested on January 31, 1957. Sentenced by the Zaporozhye Regional Court on June 18, 1957 under Art. 54-10 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 7 years in labor camp. After his release he emigrated in 1969. to Australia.
