Gertsenstein Grigory Grigorievich

Genus. in 1891 in St. Petersburg; Russian; b/p; secondary education. Former second lieutenant of the 1st Army Aeronautical Detachment. In 1918 he lived in Petrograd at 7 Bogomutovskaya street, apt. 2. Served in the air group of the Gatchina Military District. Detained on July 13, 1918 by the Extraordinary Commission of the Petrograd Soviet of Workers' and Soldiers' Deputies to combat counter-revolution and speculation in the case of a conspiracy at the Mikhailovsky Artillery School. Released on July 14, 1918. In 1937, he lived in Karelia at the Losinogorsk tractor station (in other sources - at the Lososinsky logging station of the Mashezersky s/s Prionezhsky district), worked as a technical director. Arrested 06/06/1937. Sentenced by the Troika of the NKVD of the KASSR on October 27, 1937 under Art. 58-7, 58-11 to VMN. Shot on October 27, 1937, presumably in the vicinity of Petrozavodsk (in 1992, the remains of the victims were reburied at the Zaretsky cemetery in Petrozavodsk). Rehabilitated by the KASSR Prosecutor's Office on April 13, 1989.
