Genus. in 1887 in with. Nikolo-Shiri Kologrivskogo u. Kostroma province. In the family of a folk teacher; Russian; b/n; higher education (studied at the Polytechnic Institute; graduated from the natural department of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of St. Petersburg University). He lived in Leningrad, was mainly engaged in library work and the organization of library work. First arrested on 04/10/1924 on charges of belonging to an anti-Soviet organization; the case was closed on August 29, 1924. Arrested again on December 24, 1928, charged under Art. 58-11, was released from custody on April 30, 1929 by the decision of the OGPU PP due to the non-confirmation of the charge. In 1933 he worked as deputy director of the Central Geological Library. Arrested 01/20/1933; on April 21, 1933, sentenced by the Troika of the OGPU PP in the Leningrad Military District to 5 years in labor camp with a replacement for deportation to Kazakhstan for 5 years; in connection with a serious illness, he was released ahead of schedule by a resolution of the Board of the OGPU on 06/01/1934. He died in Alma-Ata in March 1935. He was rehabilitated in the case of 1933 by the Leningrad City Court on 07/24/1988.
