Born in 1898 in Glubokoe, Vilnius Province. Served in the Tsarist Army in 1916-1917, in the Red Army from 1917 to 1926. Worked as the head of the pyrotechnic workshop at the Lenfilm film studio. Lived in Leningrad (Pushkinskaya St., Bldg. 9, Apt. 30). Arrested on March 29, 1937 by the NKVD Directorate for the Leningrad Region, charged under Articles 58-8, 58-9, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. Sentenced to capital punishment by the Visiting Session of the Supreme Commission of the Supreme Court of the USSR on May 18, 1938. Executed on May 18, 1938. Posthumously rehabilitated by the determination of the Supreme Commission of the Supreme Court of the USSR on September 19, 1957.
