Genus. in 1872 in the village Pokrovskoe, Tula province, Russian, from a priest’s family, graduated from the Kyiv Theological Academy. He was arrested on October 20, 1937. on charges of belonging to an anti-Soviet organization of churchmen.. On November 25, 1937 he died in prison. Rehabilitated on September 15, 1993.
