Leman-Balanovskaya Inna Nikolaevna
Born in 1881 in Pavlovsk, St. Petersburg Governorate; Russian; from the nobility; higher education (astronomer). In 1937 she lived in the Leningrad Region, the village of Pulkovo, observatory, apt. 25. She worked as a senior research fellow at the Pulkovo Observatory. Arrested on September 7, 1937 as a criminal under the so-called "Pulkovo case". Sentenced by the OS under the NKVD of the USSR on September 9, 1937 to 5 years in a correctional labor camp. Arrived at the transit point of the NKVD Siblag in Novosibirsk Region on November 13, 1937. In prison - in the Narym department of the NKVD Siblag. After her release, from 1943, she worked at the Simeiz Observatory, which was evacuated to the Kitab International Latitude Station. Died in 1945 in Tashkent from typhus. Rehabilitated on 12.06.1989.
