Born in 1906 in St. Petersburg (according to the house register - s. Protsuty Dubotovskoy v. Sventsyansky uyezd Vilnius province), Pole, no relation. Graduated from technical school at the Baltic Shipyard. Lived in Leningrad ( V.O., pr. Proletarskoy Pobedy, 72-a, apt. 19) . Worked as the head of the pipeline section of plant No. 189 named after Ordzhonikidze. Arrested on 20.09.1937. Sentenced by the decree of the Commission of the NKVD and the Prosecutor of the USSR dated 28.09.1937 .   under Art. 58-9-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to capital punishment. Shot in Leningrad on 06.10.1937. Rehabilitated by the decision of the Kiev Military Tribunal on 24.09.1957.

On March 3, 2019, a personal memorial sign was installed at house No. 72 on Bolshoy Prospekt Vasilievsky Island in St. Petersburg in memory of B.K. Misnik as part of the Last Address project.
