Mitrishin Pakhnutiy Ivanovich was born in 1887. A native of the village of Krushelnitsy, Skole district, Drohobych region, Ukrainian, illiterate, b/p., married. His son was taken away by the Germans to work in Germany. A participant in the Great Patriotic War, he was wounded (amputation of the left foot), and was treated in Hospital No. 1248 in Tomsk. While in the hospital, he was arrested on April 24, 1945 by employees of the NKVD on charges that, while being treated in the hospital, he “systematically carried out anti-Soviet activities among wounded Red Army soldiers. For example: slandered the Soviet government, the Red Army and collective farms, the reports of the Soviet Information Bureau and the head of the Soviet government. "He praised the bourgeois system, and also praised the fascist invaders and the order they introduced in the temporarily occupied territories of the USSR. He expressed defeatist sentiments in favor of fascist Germany..." By the decision of the Criminal Division of the Tomsk Regional Court on July 27, 1945, chaired by Judge Skryabin, under Article 58-10, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR, he was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment in a labor camp and 3 years of disenfranchisement. He died in a prison hospital on October 26, 1945. He was rehabilitated on March 6, 1990.

The file was discovered by chance, in the damp basement of SIZO-1, about 80 years after it was established. The file is in a deplorable state, the pages are eaten away by fungus and falling apart. The museum staff attempted to dry the documents and make copies.

FOUND that Mitrishin is suspected of crimes under Article 58-10, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR and, taking into account that MITRISHIN, being at large, may hinder the disclosure of the truth, hide from the investigation and trial.

Guided by Articles 145 and 158 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the RSFSR, I ruled:

In order to prevent the methods of evading investigation and trial in relation to Mitrishin Pakhnuty Ivanovich, choose detention in custody, about which, in accordance with Article 146 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the RSFSR, announce to the arrested person against signature in this resolution.

In the name of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic , July 27, 1945, the Judicial Collegium for Criminal Cases of the Tomsk Regional Court consisting of: Presiding Judge --- Skryabin, People's Assessors Altukhova and Tikhomirova with the participation of Prosecutor Comrade Anisimov.

Under Secretary Ponomareva, having examined in a closed court session the case against MITRISHIN Pakhnuty Ivanovich, born in 1887, comes from peasants of the village of Krushelnitsy, Skole district, Drohobych region, Ukrainian by nationality, illiterate, non-party member, married, previously unconvicted, before his arrest was treated in evacuation hospital No. 1248 in Tomsk

Charged under Article 58-10, Part 2 of the Criminal Code .

The panel of judges found it fully established that he, MITRISHIN, while being treated in evacuation hospital No. 1248 in Tomsk, systematically conducted anti-Soviet activities among wounded Red Army soldiers from December 1945.

Somehow: slandered the Soviet power, the Red Army and the collective farms, the reports of the Soviet Information Bureau and the head of the Soviet government. Praised the bourgeois system, and also praised the fascist invaders and the order they introduced in the temporarily occupied territories of the USSR. Expressed defeatist sentiments in favor of fascist Germany.

The crime committed by MITRISHIN is provided for in Article 58-10-2 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR, to which he fully confessed.


Guided by Articles 319 and 320 of the Code of Criminal Procedure

SENTENCED:

MITRISHINA Pakhnutiy Ivanovich, on the basis of Article 58-10, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR , to five years of imprisonment to be served in a correctional labor camp, with deprivation of his voting rights for three years, without confiscation of property due to his absence.

The measure of restraint is to remain in custody.

Pre-trial detention from April 26, 1945 shall be counted towards the sentence.

The verdict may be appealed within 72 hours in Verkhud RSFSR from the moment a copy of the verdict is served on the convicted person.

Based on the order of the Chief of the prison, Senior Lieutenant Comrade BASHLYKOV and order No. 0459, I, the doctor of the prison hospital SHARYPOVA, in the presence of the DPNT Comrade SERGEEV, conducted an external examination of the body of Mitrishin Pafnuty Ivanovich, born in 1887, who died in the prison hospital, art. 58-10, for a term of 5 years.

The corpse is male, of average height, of regular build, the muscle and subcutaneous fat layer are weak with an earthy tint, the lips are bluish. The skin of the neck is pale, without damage. The rib cage is cylindrical, its skin is pale, without damage. The opening of the nose, ears and posterior passage are without foreign objects. The abdomen is drawn in, the skin is pale, without damage. The skin of the upper and lower extremities is pale, without damage. Based on the above and case history No. 710-121, the death of prisoner Pafnuty Ivanovich MITRISHIN is natural and resulted from catarrhal pneumonia and insufficiency of the two-chamber valve.
