Mitrishin Pafnuty Ivanovich
Disabled veteran of the Great Patriotic War, was in a hospital in Tomsk. Accused under Article 58-10 in 1945. Died in a prison hospital in 1945
A native of the village of Krushelnitsy, Skole district, Drohobych region, Ukrainian, illiterate, single, married. His son was taken away by the Germans to work in Germany. A participant in the Great Patriotic War, he was wounded (amputation of the left foot), and was treated in Hospital No. 1248 in Tomsk. While in the hospital, he was arrested on April 24, 1945 by employees of the NKVD on charges that, while being treated in the hospital , he “systematically carried out anti-Soviet activities among wounded Red Army soldiers. For example: slandered the Soviet government, the Red Army and collective farms, the reports of the Soviet Information Bureau and the head of the Soviet government. He praised the bourgeois system, and also praised the fascist invaders and the order they introduced in the temporarily occupied territories of the USSR. "He expressed defeatist sentiments in favor of Nazi Germany..." By the decision of the Criminal Division of the Tomsk Regional Court on July 27, 1945, chaired by Judge Skryabin, under Article 58-10, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR, he was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment in a labor camp and 3 years of deprivation of rights. He died in a prison hospital on October 26, 1945. He was rehabilitated on March 6, 1990.
