Skobelev Viktor Efimovich
Born in 1907 in St. Petersburg; Russian; no name; higher education - graduated from the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute in 1930 and completed full-time postgraduate studies at the Department of Electric Traction at LPI, obtaining a Candidate of Technical Sciences. In 1928, he was arrested by the OGPU of the Leningrad Military District for participating in an anti-Soviet circle, but was released due to lack of evidence. Associate Professor at the Department of Electric Traction at the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute, dismissed in May 1951. Lived in Leningrad. Arrested on July 9, 1951. Sentenced on February 11-16, 1952 by the Judicial Collegium for Criminal Cases of the Leningrad City Court under Article 58-10, Part 1 and 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 10 years in a correctional labor camp, followed by disqualification under paragraphs "a" and "b" of Article 31 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR for a term of 5 years. Imprisoned in OKB-172 (Leningrad, "Kresty"). Released on 18.09.1953.
