Born 06.09.1907 in Korsun; Jewish; Higher education (in 1931 he graduated from the Leningrad Military-Technical Academy named after F.E. Dzerzhinsky, adjunct in the OKB of the Artillery Academy. Arrested and sentenced in 1939 by the Special Security Service of the NKVD of the USSR to 8 years in a labor camp. Sentenced to the OTB ("Kresty"). On July 21, 1941, he was transferred to the places of detention in the city of Kazan. In the summer of 1941, he was transferred to the city of Molotov. In Perm, the OTB from the Leningrad "Kresty" became part of Plant No. 172 (Motovilikha); he was released early and appointed chief designer of the design bureau of the Motovilikha plant. Candidate of Technical Sciences (1946), professor (1967). Author of more than 200 published works. In 1941-1945 - in Design Bureau No. 172 of the People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs of the USSR (Perm); In 1946-1956 - Chief Designer of the Perm Machine-Building Plant; in 1956-1968 - in the Mechanical Engineering Design Bureau (Perm); in 1968-1990 - at the Perm Polytechnic Institute: Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Impulsive Heat Engines (until 1978), Director - Chief Designer of the Temp Design Bureau, Professor-Consultant. He died on 06.12.1990. He was buried in Perm at the Southern Cemetery.
