Tsyganov Kornily Andreevich
Born in 1903 in the village of Idolga, Tatishchevsky District Saratov Oblast ; Russian; higher education - studied at the institute in Saratov in 1919-1925; member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). He worked at the Red Giant plant in Nikolsk, Penza Oblast, from 1925 to 1930 - assistant to the plant's technical director, in 1930-1933 - plant technical director, in 1933-1941 - chief engineer, and from 1941 - plant director. At the time of his arrest - manager Regional housing department of the Penza region. Lived in the town of Nikolsk, Penza region. Arrested on March 23, 1942 by the NKVD Directorate for the Penza region, accused of participating in an anti-Soviet sabotage organization . Sentenced on September 16, 1942 by a Special Meeting of the NKVD of the USSR under Art. 58-7, 11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 10 years' imprisonment. While imprisoned in Tagillag, in November 1944 he was transferred to the Borisov glass factory in the Kalinin region, where he worked as a production manager, and from October 1945 - to Correctional Colony No. 7 in the town of Morshansk, Tambov region, where he worked at the glass factory. After his release, he was sent into exile to the village of Entaul, Bolshemurtinsky District, Krasnoyarsk Krai, where he was killed on June 4, 1952. Rehabilitated by the Presidium of the Krasnodar Regional Court on September 15, 1956.
