She was born on August 30, 1907 in Moscow in the family of the artist M.A. Dobrova. In 1921 she joined the scout squad at the Moscow secondary school N 22, in the Swan patrol she designed a wall newspaper. In 1922-1925 - a member of the Experimental Scout Demonstration Detachment (OPSO). Entered the Higher Library Courses (1926). In November 1928, she arrived in Kem on a date with her future husband V.S. Zotov, before his departure for exile. CM. Dobrova and V.S. Zotov got married and got married on 01/25/1929 in Sverdlovsk, on the way to the place of exile V.S. Zotov. She left for Ishim, the place of exile of her husband - Zotova V.S., worked as a librarian (1929–1932). In Kaluga (since 1933), she graduated from the Library Institute (1935). She worked in Kaluga in the library (1935–1948). Researcher at the Kaluga House-Museum of Tsiolkovsky (1949–1957). She died in Kaluga in 1996.
