Abel Voldemar (Vladimir) Ivanovich, фондообразователь
Born in 1898 in Riga, Latvian, member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) in 1917-1937, head of the political department of the Baltic Shipping Company. Lived in Leningrad (5th Sovetskaya St., Bldg. 24, Apt. 4). Arrested on 10 November 1937. By the Resolution of the NKVD Commission and the USSR Prosecutor of 11 January 1938, sentenced under Articles 58-1a-9-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to capital punishment. Executed on 18 January 1938. Rehabilitated by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the USSR on 9 May 1957.
