Born September 23, 1905 in Odessa; higher education. Worked as a senior navigator, then captain of the Baltic Shipping Company. Lived in Leningrad (Pravda St., Bldg. 22, Apt. 17). Arrested December 30, 1937. Sentenced under Art. 58-10-11 to 5 years in a labor camp. From 1938 in custody at Solikamskbumstroy. Released in January 1943. Sentenced to exile November 2, 1949, released in July 1954. Rehabilitated by the Supreme Court of the USSR in May 1955. Reinstated in the position of long-distance captain of the Baltic Shipping Company. Lived in Leningrad, since 1990 a member of the Memorial Society. Died in St. Petersburg in February 1993.
