Born in 1949 in Omsk; Russian; incomplete higher education, studied at the evening department of the philological faculty of the Kolomna Pedagogical Institute. Engineer of a geographical expedition. Lived in Moscow. In 1978, she signed an appeal to the delegates of the Belgrade Conference of the member states of the Helsinki Accords in defense of Ginzburg A.I., Orlov Yu., Shcharansky A. Arrested on 27.05.1980. Sentenced by the Moscow City Court on 02.04.1981 under Article 70, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 5 years in a penal colony and 5 years in exile. Imprisoned in Dubravlag, in exile - in the Kostroma region. Released on 16.03.1987 by pardon. In April 1987, she left the USSR. Lives in New York.
