Genus. in 1936 in the Ukrainian SSR, Ivano-Frankivsk region, Tysmenetsky district, Khomyakovka village; Ukrainian; higher, in 1962 graduated from the philosophical department of Kyiv University; philosopher, art. bibliographer at the Institute of Philosophy of the Ukrainian SSR Academy of Sciences. Lived in the Ukrainian SSR, Kyiv. Arrested on July 6, 1972. Sentenced by the Kyiv Regional Court on December 6, 1973 under Article 62 Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR
to 7 years of penal colony and 5 years of exile. He served his term in the Perm camps - VS-389/35, VS-389/37, VS-389/36, exile - in the Karakalpak Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic of the Uzbek SSR. Released on April 14, 1984. After his release, he returned to Kyiv and worked as a librarian at the Gosavtotransportproject Research Institute. Member of the executive committee of the Ukrainian Helsinki Union since 1988, member of the leadership of the Ukrainian Republican Party. Died on August 21, 2023 in Kyiv.
