One of the leaders of Polish social democracy, during the First World War he was an active Zimmerwaldist. In 1917 he actively participated in the political life of the country. In the 1920s - an employee of the People's Commissariat for Foreign Affairs. In 1937 he lived in Moscow, an employee of the Izvestia newspaper, and a researcher at the Institute of World Economy and World Politics. Arrested 06/09/1937; sentenced by the Supreme Commissariat of the USSR Armed Forces on September 10, 1937 to VMN; shot 09/10/1937; burial place - Moscow, Donskoye Cemetery. Rehabilitated by the Military Commissariat of the USSR Armed Forces on June 27, 1956.
