Genus. in 1904 in the village. Bolshaya Bubnovka of Proskurovsky district (Velika Bubnivka of Proskurivsky district) of Podolsk province; Ukrainian; higher education (in 1925 he graduated from the Kamenets-Podolsk Agricultural Institute). Since 1931 - in Kyiv. At the Institute of Geology of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR, he headed the department of weathering crust and the commission for the study of the Quaternary period, and was the editor of the journal “Quaternary Period”; from 1932 – deputy director of the institute. Arrested 06/29/1937; sentenced by the Supreme Court of the USSR Armed Forces 09/02/1937 to VMN; shot in Kyiv on September 3, 1937. Rehabilitated by the Military Commissariat of the USSR Armed Forces on 12/01/1956.
