Genus. in 1948 in Leningrad. In 1973 she graduated from the Faculty of Psychology of Leningrad State University. She worked as a researcher at the Institute of Philosophy of the USSR Academy of Sciences. 1975–1989 - parking lot watchman, watchman. Mother of seven children. In her youth she attended the literary club “Daring” at the Palace of Pioneers, and in 1970-1974 - LITO under the leadership of V. Sosnora. In 1975–1980 she participated in the Religious and Philosophical Seminar of T. Goricheva. She was published in the magazine “37”, in the almanacs “Woman and Russia” (the interview article “Woman in Prison” (1979) was included only in the book version of the almanac) and “Mysteries” (Rechitsa, Belarus). In 1980-1982 - one of the leaders of the feminist club “Maria”; together with N. Lazareva, she published a magazine of the same name, publishing in it under the pseudonyms Galina Khamova and Galina Dobrovolskaya. In 1980 she was part of the group of compilers of the “Anthology of Women's Poetry” (not published). As a participant in the women's human rights movement, she was repeatedly subjected to searches, interrogations and official warnings from the KGB. She died in St. Petersburg on May 18, 2024.
