In 1963 he wrote the novel “The Krasovsky Brothers,” which he subsequently reworked several times; The main characters of the novel are Gulag prisoners. He wrote stories and memoirs that were distributed in samizdat. In 1978, chapters from the novel “War Without Embellishment” were published in the magazine “Clocks”. He made attempts to transfer the novel “The Krasovsky Brothers” for publication abroad. Arrested on November 11, 1982 for distributing the novel. Sentenced on February 28, 1983 under Art. 190-1 to 1.5 years of ITC. He served time in ITUUS-20/7UITU of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate in Yablunevka. Released on May 11, 1984. Emigrated to Israel in 1994.
