Gurevich Mendel Iosifovich

Genus. in 1903 in places. Propoisk, Gomel province. In 1936 he lived in Leningrad, chief engineer of the Mechanical Repair Transport Plant of the Leningrad Military District; arrested 02.11.1936; sentenced by the Special Collegium of the Leningrad Regional Court on June 14–17, 2937 to 10 years in prison with disqualification for 5 years. By the decision of the Judicial Collegium for Criminal Cases of the Supreme Court of the USSR on 01/08/1940, in amending the sentence, the penalty was determined - 3 years of imprisonment and, based on the totality of the crime committed, under Art. 58-10 part 1 total term of 5 years of imprisonment and loss of rights for 3 years. Released from Sevvostlag on March 30, 1942. Rehabilitated in the 1936 case by the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the USSR on March 29, 1990.
