In 1927 he took part in the expedition of L.A. Kulik in search of the Tunguska meteorite. In 1935 he lived in Leningrad, worked as a rifle instructor at the Leningrad Industrial Institute; arrested on 03/17/1935, accused of being “the former headquarters captain of the tsarist army, in 1929 he was in custody for 6–7 days in the case of Schiller, who was accused of espionage. Anti-Soviet"; sentenced by the OS under the NKVD of the USSR on 03/31/1935 as an ESR together with his wife to deportation to Saratov for 5 years, counting the period from 03/26/1935. In 1937 he lived in Saratov, worked as a shooting instructor in a local sports society; arrested 10/28/1937; sentenced by the Troika UNKVD of the Saratov region on November 29, 1937 to VMN; shot on December 4, 1937, burial place - in Saratov, presumably at the Resurrection Cemetery. Rehabilitated in the 1935 case by the Presidium of the Leningrad City Court on March 19, 1957, in the 1937 case by the Presidium of the Saratov Regional Court on May 14, 1956.
