Genus. 06/10/1953 in the city of Kamensk-Uralsky, Sverdlovsk region. In 1979 she moved from Sverdlovsk to Moscow. Member of the pacifist movement "Doveriya", editor of its bulletin "Day by Day" (late 1980s). In 1987, together with V. Novodvorskaya, she founded the polit. seminar "Democracy and Humanism", on the basis of which in the spring of 1988 the organizing committee of the party "Democratic Union" (DS) was created. At the founding congress of the DS in May 1988, she was elected a member of the Central Council of the party. In the same year, she was expelled from the DC. In 1989, together with Khramov N.E. founded the "Radical Association for Peace and Freedom" (a branch of the Transnational Radical Party (TRP) in the USSR). She was expelled for not attending a demonstration outside the Romanian embassy. In 1990, together with Kalinin, R. organized the Association of Sexual Minorities and the Libertarian Party, then she was a member of the leadership of other LGBT organizations. In 2005, she first put forward the idea of holding a gay parade in Moscow.
