Genus. in 1894 Lieutenant. In the Northwestern Army. In the 3rd Kolyvan Infantry Regiment. Commandant of the district of the Ledinki estate near Petrograd in 1919. He fled with his wife Nina Pavlovna Rudnikova to Narva, then to Revel. Together they were members of the "Black Rose" circle of artists and artists, collaborated in the newspaper "Freedom of Russia" (August - September 1919). The main employee of this newspaper, then its successors "Free Russia" (September 1919 - June 1920), "For the Freedom of Russia" (June - August 1920), "Latest News" (1921). He published interesting essays-chronicles from the front line and stories, he was called the "chronicler of Yudenich's army." Jelachich's poems were published in the magazines Clouds (1920), Otkliki (1921), and in the almanac magazine Na Chuzhbine (1921). In 1921, after a divorce from N.P. Rudnikova moved to Yugoslavia. He was a member of the Gamayun circle, the Union of Zealots for the Purity of the Russian Language, the Union of Russian Writers and Journalists in Yugoslavia. He died during the bombing of Belgrade by German aircraft.
