Genus. in 1896 in Kyiv. From 1924 he worked at the People's Commissariat of Railways as deputy chairman of the board of JSC Transportkozh, then at the Supreme Economic Council of the USSR as deputy head of the foreign department. In the period from 1925 to 1928 he worked as an authorized representative of the Supreme Economic Council at the Soviet trade mission in Germany. From 1928 to 1931 he headed JSC Tsvetmetimport. In 1932-1933 - Deputy Trade Representative of the USSR in Berlin, at the same time - member of the Board of the People's Commissariat of Foreign Trade of the USSR. In 1933-1934 - Deputy Head of the Import Department of the People's Commissariat of Foreign Trade of the USSR. In 1934, at the XVII Congress of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks, he was elected a member of the Party Control Commission under the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks, where he headed the foreign relations group. In October 1938, he was expelled from the party on charges of Trotskyism by the decision of the Party Control Commission under the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks, of which he himself had recently been a member. On January 23, 1940, the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR sentenced him to capital punishment, and on January 24, 1940, he was executed. Rehabilitated in 1955.
