On November 10, 1932, on the Moscow-Volga canal, he joined the OGPU and took the position of head of the production research laboratory of the MVS Dmitlag NKVD Directorate; in 1933 the conviction was overturned by the Central Election Commission. From 06/05/1935 – head of the structures department; from 12/18/1935 – deputy head of the technical department of the Volzhsky region; from 02/25/1937 – head of the department for the delivery of structures of the Government Acceptance Commission.
