Genus. in 1879 in St. Petersburg in a professorial family; Russian; higher education: in 1907 he graduated from the St. Petersburg Institute of Technology; heat engineer. In 1919–1930 taught at the Petrograd (Leningrad) Polytechnic Institute; arrested on 10/15/1930 in the "case of the Industrial Party". At the trial of the "Industrial Party" he was named the head of one of the Leningrad wrecking "chains", he was not taken to a public trial, we are judged separately from Ramzin and his accomplices; sentenced by KOGPU on 08/23/1931 to 10 years in prison; released in April 1932. In 1932–1935 – Scientific Director of the Central Boiler and Turbine Institute; in 1933–1955 worked at the Energy Institute. G.M. Krzhizhanovsky, in 1939-1955. taught at MPEI. He died in 1955 and was buried in Moscow at the Novodevichy Cemetery.
