Born in 1892 in the Penza region. Former chief commander and commissar of all military ports of the Black and Azov Seas, chief and commissar of the Main Naval Economic and Technical Directorate of the Republic. In 1923, the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR sentenced him to death for mismanagement, bribery, and abuse of official position. By a resolution of the Presidium of the Central Executive Committee of the USSR, the execution was replaced by 10 years of labor camp, and in 1929 he was released early. 06/30/1940 arrested again. 04/26/1941 At a special meeting of the NKVD of the USSR, he was sentenced to 8 years in a labor camp for participation in an anti-Soviet group. After his release on February 21, 1948, he was sent into exile. In 1955 he was released from exile, and in 1956 he was rehabilitated.
