Kamegulov Anatoly Dmitrievich
Literary critic
Born in 1900 in Smolensk; Russian; son of a priest; higher education (graduated from the Astrakhan Gymnasium and Leningrad University); member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) since 1919. Member of the Board of the Russian Association of Appeals; member of the Union of Soviet Writers; research associate at the Institute of Russian Literature of the USSR Academy of Sciences. Arrested on 08.02.1935. Sentenced by the General Assembly of the NKVD of the USSR on 10.02.1935 to 4 years of exile in Kazakhstan. In 1936 he lived in the city of Turgai, arrested on 11.03.1936 by the Aktobe RO NKVD. Sentenced to capital punishment by the Visiting Session of the Supreme Commission of the Supreme Court of the USSR on 09.10.1937. Executed on 09.10.1937. Rehabilitated under the 1937 case of the Supreme Commission of the Supreme Court of the USSR on 16.02.1958.
