In 1920–1922 he worked in an orphanage near Tomsk. Since 1922 he lived in Moscow; worked as head of the literary department of the Theater for Young Spectators; arrested 10/22/1937; sentenced by the Troika under the NKVD in the Moscow region on 12/09/1937 to VMN; executed on December 11, 1937. Burial place: Moscow, Butovo. Rehabilitated 08/09/1956.
