In 1913-18 he was a student at IFF SPbU, where he studied Hebrew, Egypt. and cop. languages (at the same time he studied at the natural department of the FMF). In 1919 he accepted the priesthood and served in Orel. In 1923 he was involved in the case of the seizure of church property. He was banned from living in Oryol Gubernia; in 1925 adm. exiled for 3 years to Siberia. In 1929 he was arrested in the case of the KRO "Northern Center". Exiled for 3 years in Sev. region (Veliky Ustyug). In 1931 he was exiled to the village. Ust-Kulon (Komi ASSR). Arrested in exile on 19 Feb. 1934 by the organs of the OGPU PP in the LVO (Articles 58-10, 11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR - "an active participant in the counter-revolutionary church-monarchist organization"). Fast. Troikas of the OGPU PP in the LVO from 28 Feb. 1934 sentenced to 5 years in labor camp. Sent to SevVostLag (Vladivostok). On the fate after 1934 sved. No. Rehabilitated in 1990.
