In 1935 he lived in Leningrad, worked as a senior engineer at Lengipromez (Leningrad State Institute for the Design of Metallurgical Plants). Sentenced (without arrest!) OSO under the NKVD of the USSR 03/23/1935 to exile for 3 years. Released 03/25/1938. Rehabilitated by the OSO at the Ministry of State Security of the USSR on 03/01/1947.
