Genus. in 1883 in St. Petersburg; Russian; higher education (Polytechnic Institute and. Talented electrical engineer, author of the plan for the electrification of the Petrograd region, which served as the basis for GOELRO. In 1918-1937 he was engaged in the design, construction and reconstruction of power plants and electrical substations.He taught at the Military Technical Academy and the Polytechnic Institute, chaired a branch of the Russian Technical Society, and participated in the construction of the Palace of Soviets in Moscow. Arrested in 1937. After three and a half years of imprisonment, he died in a camp in 1942. Rehabilitated in 1959.
