Genus. in 1900 in Moscow; higher education: graduated from the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute (1925); b/p. In 1922 he lived in Petrograd, a 3rd year student at the Polytechnic Institute; arrested on 04/22/1922 by the PCHK, accused of agitation against the confiscation of church valuables; By resolution of the Petrograd City Revolutionary Tribunal dated May 22, 1922, he was released from custody on May 24, 1922, on his own recognizance. From 1927 he worked at the Baltic Shipyard, as head of the design department of the design bureau and deputy chief designer, participated in the development of submarines of the Dekabrist, Shchuka, Stalinets, Malyutka, Leninets type; was the chief designer of a submarine with a single engine. Arrested in 1930, accused of sabotage in connection with the unsuccessful test of the Dekabrist submarine; released 9 months after the arrest, took part in the design of submarines at TsKBS-2, and was appointed chief designer of the submarine project. In the post-war years he worked as a designer at the Central Research Institute named after. A.N. Krylov, taught at the Military Medical Academy and at VVMIU. Died on November 8, 1991 in St. Petersburg.
