Genus. in 1886-87(?) in Kronstadt. In 1911 he graduated from St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University. Until 1918 he worked at the Admiralty and Baltic factories, at the shipyards in Revel. Since 1918, he supervised the repair of submarines at the Admiralty and Baltic factories. From 1924 - head of Sevzapvoenprom, later - chief engineer of the Sestroretsk arms plant.
In 1928, he was arrested in the case of the Industrial Party and ended up in the Ostekhbyuro sharashka under the OGPU. Since 1930, he was appointed technical director of the Special Technical Bureau of Economic Management at the authorized representation of the United State Political Administration in the Leningrad Military District (OTB EKU PP OGPU in the Leningrad Military District) on the territory of the Baltic Plant. Since 1931 - head of the Special Design and Technical Bureau No. 2 (OKTB-2).
Released in 1932. Appointed chief engineer of OKTB-2.
Re-arrested on charges of sabotage. Died in Leningrad in 1933 (reason unknown). Rehabilitated on September 24, 1990.
Resided: Leningrad, st. Troitskaya 23−94.
