Kostenko Vladimir Polievktovich
Genus. in 1881 in the village. Great Budishcha, Zenkovsky district, Poltava province. In 1904 he graduated from the Marine Engineering School of Emperor Nicholas I in Kronstadt. Arrested on March 23, 1910 for revolutionary activities, imprisoned in the Trubetskoy bastion of the Peter and Paul Fortress, sentenced to six years of hard labor. Pardoned 12/19/1911. He held various management positions at shipbuilding enterprises. Arrested on December 27, 1928 in the Leningrad Sudotrest case. 06/09/1929 sentenced to the Navy, replaced by 10 years of imprisonment in the Solovetsky camp. On November 30, 1929, he was transferred to the Kharkov Design Bureau, and from October 29, 1930, to the Leningrad Design Bureau. Released on August 18, 1931. Arrested on February 25, 1941, in July 1941 he was transferred to Zlatoust prison, in June 1942 - to Chelyabinsk, in July 1942 he was released. Died in Leningrad in 1956. Rehabilitated by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on November 16, 1964.
