Genus. in 1880 in St. Petersburg; from nobles; graduated from the Naval Cadet Corps and in September 1898 was promoted from midshipmen to midshipmen. In 1900-1901. participated in foreign voyages on the cruiser II rank "Dzhigit", which was part of the 1st Pacific Fleet. In 1902 he graduated from the mine officer classes of the Baltic Fleet, then the navigational classes. From January 1915 he commanded the destroyer Zabiyaka, in 1916 he was promoted to captain of the 1st rank.
In 1929 - head of the weight bureau of shipyard No. 12. Lived in Leningrad. Arrested 08/12/1929. Sentenced by the KOGPU on 12/01/1929 under Art. 58-6, 58-11 to 5 years in a concentration camp with confiscation of property. He died in 1930 in the Solovetsky camp. He was rehabilitated on 03/01/1958 by the VK of the USSR Armed Forces.
