Shevchenko, NRU, member of the NRU. 03/04/1990 was elected People's Deputy of Ukraine. He was a member of the "People's Council", a faction of the People's Rukh of Ukraine.
Member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Commission on State Sovereignty, Inter-Republican and Interethnic Relations.
