Kotolynov Ivan Ivanovich
Born May 25, 1905 in St. Petersburg. Party member since 1921, in 1921-1924 he was the head of the economic sector of the Leningrad provincial committee of the RLKSM, secretary of the Vyborg district committee of the Komsomol, head of the organizational and instructional department of the provincial committee of the Komsomol. In 1924-1926 he was a member of the Executive Committee of the Communist Youth International (KIM), a member of the Bureau of the Central Committee of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League, in 1925 and 1926 he was sent to Germany and Austria as a representative of the KIM. In 1926-1928 he was deputy head of the organizational department of the Siberian regional council of trade unions. He took part in the so-called "new opposition". On 18.12.1927, the 15th Congress of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) expelled him from the party for participating in the Trotskyist-Zinoviev opposition; in 1929, he was reinstated in the party. Since 1929, he was a student at the Leningrad Industrial Institute. On 05.12.1934, he was arrested; on 28-29.12.1934, he was sentenced to capital punishment by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR. He was rehabilitated on 30.11.1990, in accordance with the party procedure - by the Central Control Commission of the Communist Party of the RSFSR on 27.03.1991.
