Genus. in 1913 in a family of workers; secondary education; member of the CPSU(b). In the bodies of the OGPU-NKVD since 1931, starting work as a trainee of the detective officer of the Economic Department of the OGPU of the Georgian SSR. In 1937–1939, deputy head of the Investigative Unit of the NKVD of the Georgian SSR, in 1939–1945, head of the Investigative Unit, deputy head of the NKVD Directorate for the Lvov Region. From 03/14/1941 deputy head of the NKVD for the Yaroslavl region, from 05/12/1943 to 05/07. 1945 Head of the UNKGB for the Yaroslavl region. Subsequently he worked as Minister of State Security of the Armenian SSR. In 1947, for squabbles and non-partisan behavior, he was removed from this post and appointed with demotion to the post of head of the UMGB for the Ulyanovsk region. In 1951, for illegal arrests of citizens, the use of illegal investigative methods, for the persecution and unjustified dismissals of honest communists in the Ulyanovsk region, he was removed from this position and dismissed from the MGB. Returning to the Armenian SSR in 1951-1953, he worked as head of the personnel department of the Ministry of Food Industry of the republic. On charges of repeated violations of socialist legality, he was arrested on September 25, 1953. The Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR rejected his petition for pardon. According to the verdict of the Military Commissariat of the USSR Armed Forces, he was executed on January 15, 1955.
